Our comprehensive eye exam includes a glasses prescription, a complete health check of the eye including dilation and a retinal photo to document the health of your eyes.
Our Doctors are fully trained and qualified to treat red eyes, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and many other eye condition. If advanced eye care or surgery is needed, we will refer to the proper specialist.
Pre and post-operative exams for LASIK, PRK, and cataracts can also be done at Verona Vision Care.
Our Doctors also utilize the latest technology to care for your eyes.
A visual field is a test of your peripheral and central vision function. We use it to test for neurological diseases that can affect your visual field. It is also an important part of managing glaucoma patients and patients taking high-risk medications. We do a screening visual field test as part of our comprehensive exam.
An Optomap is a digital retinal photograph that allows us to see a wide-angle view of your retina to access its overall health. It gives us nearly the same view of the retina as dilating your pupils and creates a digital record of the retina that can be referenced in the future
OCT (OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY)
An OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) is a laser scanning instrument that allows us to look in great detail at the structure of your retina and optic nerve. We use this to detect and treat eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. It’s also a useful tool in fitting some of the newer gas permeable contact lenses called scleral lenses.
A corneal topographer analyzes your corneal curvature for the fitting of contact lenses and for LASIK surgery.
