Dr. Tami Hunt

Dr. Hunt moved to Verona, WI in 2004 and has been practicing in the Madison area since that time.  Originally from Wahpeton, N.D.,  Dr. Hunt graduated from Valley City State University in ND with a major in chemistry and minors in math and physics. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Pacific University Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Hunt has experience and training in primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses and low vision.

Dr. Hunt is a member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She continues her education at seminars to stay informed with current research and technology in vision care. She has traveled internationally to underdeveloped areas to help provide eye care and does eye exams through the Lions Club of Verona.  She is a member of the Verona Lions Club.

Dr. Hunt enjoys being an optometrist as she likes talking with people, learning how they use their vision daily and making sure that all of their eye care needs are met. She especially enjoys finding contact lenses that work when patients thought they may not be able to wear them. She also likes working with infants and kids. She has experience and training in diseases of the eyes and finds satisfaction in removing foreign objects from eyes!

Dr. Hunt resides in Verona with her husband, Jason, and daughters, Mazie and Kinley.
